the lay of the lacrymer

I thought I should note that this is going to be a long story. Like, years long. It’s a bit hard to just dole out one panel at a time, though I’m doing it this way because a) I’m trying to learn how to do a comic that is both a serial and a longer narrative, and b) it takes me 8-12 hours to do each one of these, and while I’ve got a few months worth in reserve, I’d like to try and be consistent about posting. I can do one a week for sure, at two a week I might end up crashing and burning. We’ll see.
