I’ve been messing about in the visual realm all my life. I spent much of my childhood drawing, decided I wanted to be a graphic designer in my early teen years, and graduated from CalArts in ‘91 with a degree in Visual Communication (a fancy name for graphic design). Since then I’ve worked as a Designer, and Art Director. Initially I worked in print, but having fallen in love with HyperCard in the early 90s, I jumped into the interactive realm (a fancy name for web design) as soon as I could, and have been there ever since. In addition, I’ve been indulging my long-time obsession with drawing (comics and otherwise), and so quite a few illustrative projects have been making their way into the world.

When I’m not drawing or staring at a computer screen, I’m spending time in my garden with my cats, or trying to get to a sunny beach with my delicious husband, Dave (which is harder than you think when you live in Portland, Oregon).
